Pastel for Pennies

Ok, not pennies, but you get the idea, and you know I love alliteration. Here is my summer casual pastel look for not a whole lotta spend-

I am in love with mint! I try to keep it from being too matchy matchy by varying shades and textures, as well as pairing accessories with a super basic wardrobe.

This t-shirt. THIS T-SHIRT. I have been shelling out a little more money lately, trying to find a t-shirt to fit my more broad shoulders and long torso while maintaining that super thin worn-in feel. Don’t look anywhere else, buy this one now. It comes in basic colors, and the black has a slightly different texture but still fabulous (and yes, I now realize it is a bit sheer since you can see my hot pink bra in the photo….um….matches my lip gloss?).

And for the bottom half- don’t be fooled by my weird-looking jeans, it is just the angle. They are super cute worn/torn boyfriend jeans…I just cuffed it oddly because I was trying on shoes 🙂

I love doing different shades of one color in my outfit, keeps it interesting. I received the polish in my PopSugar box and it is amazingly opaque and super bright, and the EXACT same color of the bottom of the public pools (I confirmed @ the pool yesterday). These shoes? I could walk Old Orchard ten times in them.
