How to Label All of Your Kid’s Items with Minted!

I had heard of Minted a few times, but never knew the premise behind the company. I thought they were another premium stationery company, but they are SO much more.  Minted hosts a community of independent artists from 43 countries around the world, and are one of the first companies to pioneer the concept of crowd-sourcing.

With this in mind, I now realize why I absolutely love the different array of designs available for so many of their projects. On a lot of sites, the selection holiday cards or stationery options are just tweaked versions, with everything having the same basic look. On Minted, they definitely have something for everyone!

In addition to the unique and artistic cards and art they offer, Minted recently came out with a new line of name and clothing labels. I remember those iron on name tapes that my mom affixed to my clothes for summer camp- white rectangles with my name in red lettering, and I thought it was absolutely fabulous. Well, my kiddos are so much luckier than I was!

These labels stick on EVERYthing- from your kid’s camp t-shirt to their water bottle, art supplies to backpack. They are dishwasher safe, waterproof, laundry safe and non-toxic!

As I was perusing the options, I came across their photo labels. I’ll tell you why this is absolutely brilliant. Not everyone knows my child’s name at camp, but they know his cute little face. If he loses something, people will know exactly who it belongs to because of the insanely adorable pic posted on his belongings.

My 2 year old heads to daycare twice a week, and always wants to drag a lovie or toy along with her. I am not a fan of this, but hey- it makes her feel more comfortable to tote along something from home. I now stick on the tiny labels from Minted with her name on them and they always make it back home. One day she was having a particularly clingy morning and dragged her favorite 2 ft tall bunny with her. I slapped a label on the bunny’s ear before daycare, and popped it right in the washing machine as soon as we arrived back home. The label stayed put, and bunny came out sanitized 😉

They have labels for every interest and hobby your child could have- from ballet to basketball, unicorns to donuts, your little will have a blast picking out and personalizing their own labels with you.

My 5 year old just started summer camp this year, and I recall pretty much everything getting lost last year. I popped a couple of cute Minted labels on his backpack, his camp shirt (that EVERY other camper has), his water bottle, and his lunch bag. I’ll bet they all come back at the end of summer!
