I used to buy eyeshadows in those little compacts, two or three to a set. I then discovered two of my favorite palettes and rarely use anything else now! Most of the time I will use a nude combo, day or night, so these two collections work well for me.
Urban Decay- Naked 2
THIS was the palette that I lusted after forever until I just HAD to have it. It contains 12 colors, mostly shimmers and a couple of matte shades. My favorites are Snakebite (dark bronze shimmer), Suspect (pale golden beige shimmer), Pistol (light grayish brown shimmer), YDK (cool bronze shimmer), Busted (deep brown shimmer) and Blackout (blackest black matte). You can create every smokey eye under the sun with this set! The only thing missing is a deep matte cocoa color. It retails for $54, but worth every penny.
Too Faced- Natural Eyes
I received this set in my Pop Sugar Must Have Box (which is why it is THE BEST subscription box out there- the products are always cutting edge and things you WANT). The three “looks” are Day (matte), Classic (shimmer) and Fashion (matte/shimmer) and it comes with a How-to Glamour Guide. I would buy this just for the color “Sexspresso” which is that deep cocoa that is missing in the Naked 2 set. It retails for $36.
