Ok, I am loving this November weather. I remember last year on Halloween, we had a freezing rain/ice storm that drove everyone inside to huddle next to the fire due to the chilly temps. Yesterday was low 70s where I live, and it is time to get creative with the wardrobe!
Flip flops are too summery, while knee high boots cause me to break out in a sweat when the sun is beating down. What is a gal to wear when she has packed away her breezy shift dresses and has to chose from long sleeves and heavy fabric? Let’s find out, I do love a challenge!
I picked up this brand new chambray shirt from Crossroads Trading in Lincoln Park. Original price- $60. My price? $15. The skirt is from The Limited- they had a line of clothing called Outback Red that seems to have been recently discontinued. Make sure to grab it off the clearance rack if you can find it because the quality is excellent. I love pairing leopard with anything, and learn a lot from scrolling through Instagram on what colors and materials work.
To keep it casual and seize the opportunity to show toes before they freeze, I opted for these open-toe booties from Nine West. I stacked a few thin bracelets in different colors- tan, deep cobalt, gold and added cobalt and gold earrings.
The purse is from Plato’s Closet- yes, that clothing chain that caters to high schoolers (I scoop up all the more mature fashion for a great price). A fuchsia lip stain tops off the warm weather look!
How have you altered your style to jive with the warm weather? Stay tuned for another warm weather outfit post this week!
You have to check out LeThrift on W. Chicago! You'd love it! Enjoy this crazy weather:)
