Things I Hope My Son Never Finds Out…

I guess I shouldn’t be posting this on the Internet if I never want him to find out since I am sure he will surpass me in tech knowledge by the age of 3…but I couldn’t resist!

Things I Hope My Son Never Finds Out

That I french rolled his pants so he could crawl easier. He shouldn’t have to pay for my fashion mistake in the 80s, but form follows function in this scenario.

That I strapped him to the back of the stall door in Target when I had an emergency bathroom run after 4 cups of coffee. I was almost crying tears of joy when I realized that the last stall on the right in the LZ Target had this amazing invention.

That I have dressed him up for every holiday and occasion…and sometimes just for my own enjoyment. I guess I miss Barbie.

That his favorite toy is actually a Corona Light bottle opener. (NOTE- Contrary to how it looks, there are NO sharp edges on this…did you think I would let him chew on something that resembles a prison shank?!? Come on!)

That although I try my best to be 100% present in the moment, I occasionally have to multitask.

That I love him so much I would forgive anything he does. Can’t let him know I am wrapped around his little baby finger!

THANKS! I almost sent this post out for a second opinion before I published, but then I though…well, this is how I roll, why not be honest?

A Mommy who really cares about her little boy, Bryson and wants the best for him always. What ever she is doing. She includes him into her life.

Thank you so much! I do always keep him in mind. So tough to figure out how to preserve who you are as a person while figuring out how to fit the "mom" role in!
