Summer Must Haves in San Antonio

This is a sponsored post.

Can you believe it is already edging towards mid-July? If you haven’t had a chance to fully enjoy summer, now is your chance. Here are a few must haves to make sure you enjoy to the fullest!

The first Michelada I had was in Mexico. This delicious combination of Clamato, beer, lime juice and assorted spices and sauces is refreshing and absolutely delicious. If you haven’t had one, I would describe it as a lighter, slightly carbonated Bloody Mary with a twist. Try this version of a Spicy Michelada for National Michelada Day on July 12th!

  • 6 oz. Clamato® Picante
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 12 oz. light beer
  • 1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 jalapeños (1 in slices)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Tajín®
  • Ice

  • Run lime across rim of mug.
  • Dip mug in Tajín to coat evenly.
  • Add ice and jalapeño slices (to taste).
  • Add the remaining ingredients, except Clamato and beer, and stir.
  • Fill with Clamato and beer.
  • Garnish with jalapeño.

Clausthaler Non-Alcoholic Beer

My husband and I have decided to drink less, but have had a tough time finding a variety of Non-Alcoholic beer. Clausthaler is a pioneer in the NA Beer category, and has been producing non-alcoholic beer for over 40 years. We tried their new IPA made with Cascade hops, and it definitely fills that craving for beer! They also have an ISO 0.0%, Grapefruit and their original Lager.
