If leggings are not pants and tunics are not dresses, why not put them together
and get a complete outfit??
This fall, my uniform is leaning towards leggings and tunics, and I am still on the hunt for those ultra cozy, chunky knit cowl sweaters that hit mid-thigh. Until the stores catch up to the season, I am bring out some of my favorites from last fall!
This tunic is from Forever 21, under $20 last winter. The leggings I found in a Banana Republic clearance bin for $2- super opaque and warm enough to ward off the fall chill! The bracelets are a random collection of a gold chain and gold-accented leather wrap. As for the gold choker, it is one of my favorites that I received from my late grandmother- I love incorporating her jewelry into my everyday outfits. The bag is from Mad Style (many of their on trend bags are under $100), and the hat I scored from Savers Thrift for a few dollars.
Simple Style Tip– to look put together but not matchy-matchy, try to pair your makeup with your bag. I matched my lipstick (Sephora) with my bag for two punches of red in an otherwise black and white color scheme.
As for the boots, these are my go-to in the fall. They are Sam Edelman- Gillian Boot, super comfy, affordable, pretty tough in looks and design!
What are you wearing this fall? How are you incorporating last year’s wardrobe into this year’s new purchases?
