Ditch Your Purse with This Posh Essential!

My gal pals and I hit up Vegas over Memorial Day weekend- needless to say, it was a much-needed break from the everyday routine of wake, feed, wash and repeat with our kiddos. We were thrilled to share a gorgeous room overlooking the strip at the Wynn, mix pre-dinner cocktails while jamming to some tunes that weren’t radio edit, and swap accessories.

One thing I love about heading out with my friends is that I don’t have to carry a massive tote filled to the brim with diapers, Matchbox cars, and Goldfish crackers. One night, I even went out without a purse…a sheer miracle for a mom.

I was sent a super fun accessory to test out, and thought Vegas was the perfect spot! The amazing team at Posh Essentials in Highland Park messengered a GirlyGoGarter to my doorstep, and I couldn’t wait to give it a trial run. Posh Essentials is a boutique owned for women by women, and they always have the latest and greatest in everything from robes to lingerie to intimate accessories. The store is gorgeous: colorful pieces line the walls, and the glamorous decor is such a welcoming respite from my own over-crowded, toy-infested home.

GirlyGoGarter is a lacy garter made of stretchy microfiber with pockets to stash all of your going out essentials. From lipstick to cell phones, mints to even an Epi-Pen, this garter can hold up to 3 lbs. of must-haves. It isn’t like a traditional garter- this has a similar concept as an amazing strapless bra. It has latex-free grippers that hold it in place while you shake your bootie.

This adorable accessory is available in multiple sizes and colors, and retails starting at $39. Want one? Head over to Posh Essentials– right on Central Avenue in Highland Park.

PS- this makes the perfect engagement or bridal shower gift! What bride wouldn’t love a way to stash her perfect lipstick for quick touch-ups?

A big big thank you to Posh Essentials for sending the GirlyGoGarter my way, so excited to use it again for another night out!

There's something immediately dignified about this venue – it is beautifully designed, tasteful, and understated. Went to these comfy event venues recently, just the right temperature, good food and great experience.
