2015 GRAMMY Party with ARIA!

The 2015 GRAMMYs are rapidly approaching- they will take place this Sunday, February 8th at 8/7c on CBS. This is a great event throw throw a last minute viewing party together for- simply print out the ballot below, grab some highlighters, some ARIA bubbly and instant soiree!

Freixenet Group was so kind as to send a bottle of ARIA my way to taste for a GRAMMY party, and SWOON! This is definitely going to feature in my rotation on a regular basis. “Aria” translates to melody from Italian, which makes it the perfect pairing for this music-filled award show. ARIA garnered 88 points from Wine Enthusiast, and is listed as one of the Top 8 Spanish Sparklers by Wine Spectator. They had it in stock at my Binny’s today- call stores to confirm!

The flavor? “…dominated by fresh pineapple, almonds, honey and straw with hints of fresh bread.” Divine.

Food Pairings:
Jamón serrano
Gouda
Grilled poultry

I would put together a tapas platter to serve with this Cava- include a simple crostini topped with serrano ham and a dollop of strawberry preserves with a drop of balsamic vinegar.
